    The apartment, built in 2005, is situated on a small, quiet complex on Isla Canela in Southern Spain. Access to the complex is through security gates and allocated numbered parking is below the apartment, served by lifts and staircases. The apartment is on the first floor, and is surrounded by attractive grounds which are well-lit at night. The large south-facing terrace, with attractive views, overlooks the golf course, which borders the entire complex. A fully fenced area, accessible only by key, contains a large outdoor swimming pool, separate children's pool and play area. Private tennis courts can be used by residents, while reduced green fees are available on the golf course.

    The kitchen has a large fridge/freezer, an electric hob and oven and cupboards where cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery are stored. A separate door opens out into a secure storage/drying area where the washing machine is housed. The large lounge/diner has comfortable seating, a settee which converts into a double bed, as well as formal table and chairs for eating. A 32' flat screen TV with CD/DVD facilities provides a wide range of entertainment choices.
    Both bedrooms have twin beds, bedside tables and built-in wardrobes with plenty of storage. The main bedroom has an en suite bathroom, comprising a bath with shower, washbasin, toilet and bidet, while the shower room has a full-size shower, washbasin and toilet.

    Railway: Huelva: 37.3 mi
    Fly to either Seville or Faro. The drive to Ayamonte is almost entirely on the motorway -75 minutes from Seville and 45 minutes from Faro. Cheap flights availabe from Easyjet, Ryanair and other low-cost airlines into Faro and Seville.
    All the well-known car hire companies operate at both airports but www.economycarhire.com provides good value for money.

It was a very nice vacation, We were nicely received by Steve. Lovely apartment well cared and a large swimming pool. Environment is very very nice and beautiful, Also the trips to Portugal are a must, very nice We will definitely be back again. Errol and Laura more

Ayamonte is a new area to us but we weren't disappointed! Loads to do, fantastic beaches close by and the option of a ferry to Portugal only 10 minutes away. The apartment was a delight, comfortable, good quality with just about everything provided, including a kettle - an often rare commodity in Spain! We would definitely book here again and... more

After staying here in January 2012, we promised ourselves a return trip, so we decided to spend 3 weeks in the apartment over Christmas & New Year 2012/13 . We loved every minute of it!
