    We are in a quiet neighborhood about a third of a mile from the center of town. Avoid the traffic of downtown Estes while getting all the benefits. The historic Stanley Hotel is only a few minutes away, as is a handy grocery store, so it's like being at home in the mountains.

    Easy access to the northern entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park without going through the traffic, and just a 5-minute drive to Lake Estes and the town marina with fishing, paddle boats, canoes, and biking.

I had one major quibble...the condo was advertised as having a hot tub, so we all brought swim suits. Turns out there IS NO HOT TUB...only a Jacuzzi in the master bath (for one person).
The kitchen is very well appointed. We had some serious cooks along and they found everything they needed. there was no propane in the grill (and the replacement bottle in the garage was also empty). We found coffee and coffee filters on arrival, plus lots of other extras (hot chocolate, etc.)
We had a bit of trouble figuring out the TV/DVD set up. Would have been nice to have instructions somewhere.
The pool table in the basement was a nice source of fun. The basement rooms are quite chilly, unless the heat is turned up to a degree that makes the upstairs a bit stuffy and warm. We would have used the gas fireplace, but it had some visible damage to the rear wall, so we were concerned about using it.
These were all minor quibbles for a lovely place to relax and call "home...
