We are not great ones for hotels and this place suited us very well. It is a studio apartment in a newly renovated building. We used it as a base to visit family in New York.
Catering is easy with full facilities. But Bedford Avenue beckons with bars, cafes, a biergarten and restaurants. There are also specialist food retailers, an upmarket food store and convenience stores. The whole area is buzzing.
Union Sq is 3 stops away on the L subway so Manhatten is your oyster but don't ignore the lovely park opposite. And the view of Manhattan from the rooftop terrace is to die for. more
