The building is located a few properties down from the southwest corner of Columbus and West 80th Street. The neighborhood is zoned for residential but there is a deli and a cafe on the two corners on Columbus with the newly famous "Shake Shack" around the corner - get there early and order doubles, the burgers are an ambrosia. You could park on the street if available or in one of the lots, it is advised not to drive in NYC as public/private transportation in almost any form is available within minutes.
