I got there on a rainy night, it was dark and I could barely see. I found the cabin and passed out from the drive and flights. When I woke up and looked outside I couldn't believe they had such an incredible landscape on this property, you really cannot beat the views from this place. There is a really cool dog that comes up to the house with stuff in his mouth, we adored him, he was such a character. After the rain we counted 22 waterfalls from the cabin to town. The place is very quiet and all is explained in the directions just as said. It was bike week here so I wanted something quiet. The beds are comfy and it comes with hotel style soap and shampoo. I went with a hiker friend but if I were to choose a "romantic" getaway, this is the place.

This cabin is definitely cute and the location fantastic for a real experience of the "Wild West" Wonderful for sleeping and star gazing; 30 minutes out of Moab on a real working ranch.

The beds were comfortable, bathroom small (but adequate), for which we were grateful. However, too little thought or provision has been made for guests wishing to have coffee or dine in. We were prepared for no stove but were told there was a coffee pot. There was one, but there were no filters.

Cute wears thin when you cannot make a cup of coffee. We used a paper towel for the filter.

Suggestion: add plates, bowls and utensils, and a good kettle to the cabin. Stock plenty of coffee filters and put in a small table and chairs. (No one will miss the rocking chair.) Make it comfortable for simple dining. Also fyi, we had no wifi signal. Address these and your cabin would be terrific.

PS: We LOVED dining at the Sorrel River Ranch, just down the road toward...

Management response:

We're glad to hear that you had a great time! The Moab Guesthouse is indeed an ideal location for adventure seekers and those with a rustic, outdoor side! The absence... more
