We stayed at the 'Kamai' rental, a one bedroom, one bathroom unit with everything else you need. It was a great place to relax, cook a meal and use as a home base for our North Shore adventure. The hot tub outside of an evening was amazing...what better way to wind down at the end of the day.
Only a short walk up to the supermarket for food supplies and the accommodation provides heaps of gear like snorkles and body boards etc for hire. Bus stops right outside and for $2.50 its a great way to explore the island and a get a feel for the locals.
The best thing was how super friendly the staff were. Our flights was massively delayed meaning we arrived at the accommodation at 2am!! They were there to greet us and show us to our unit and made it all super easy. We had great chats with the guest relations manager Otilani who tried everything to get us a cheaper transfer to the airport than the taxi as she thought they were crazy prices!
