Three days at Villa Vashon in early November was everything reviewa had promised. The greeting from Dean & Bonnie was most welcoming as they showed us how to use everything. The location, right next to the ferry terminal, was so close, we missed the turn when we first arrived, but quickly made a turnaround, and found it. The view is beautiful NW waterfront, with the waves lapping next to the building, especially when the ferry arrives and leaves--very soothing. We never heard the ferry whistle, except on Sunday when the Seahawks won their game!
The hosts have thought of everything, including a sleep mask next to the bed for those sensitive to the sun, since there are several windows and skylights, as well as the perfect products in the bathroom and comfy bathrobes and slippers. Due to a windstorm, the power went out for most of Saturday, and Bonnie graciously brought us candles to manage when it got dark.
