Having had a wonderful holiday this year at Branxholme Howe in Scotland we had a pretty good idea that Vila Luisa would be similarly well appointed but when we arrived it did what every holiday villa should do, but unfortunately in our experience many don't, it made us all go 'Wow, what a place!... this is going to be a great holiday' Location, location, location. Only 40 minutes from Faro airport, 20 minutes from the coast and 10 minutes from Silves for easy shopping and a raaaange of eating places. Vila Luisa is located on a gentle hillside with a wonderful view over a broad valley which lights up at night and it stands on its own in a very quiet and private location. The sense of peace and relaxation is overwhelming. Our holiday started the moment we arrived when we were greeted warmly by Lidia a local Portugese lady with excellent English who, along with her husband, manages the property.
