This is a lovely villa managed by nice people. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us, which was sweet (the thought not the wine which was a nice dry red). If you want a base to see the mountains this is perfect, what a view! We went at the end of May and the weather (for once according to everyone we spoke to!) was not 100% but the villa more than made up for it. We had lovely excursions during our week to various places and it was great to drive back and rest in the quiet comfort of the villa. Just below the villa is a lovely river that tumbles through the Pyrenees and also the Yellow train station is close by. You will want a car or use taxis to get about but that can be half the fun if you like driving on the right. You can also laze around the pool and/or have a BBQ (it's a good one). The villa is fully equipped and very comfortable plus TV and Wi-Fi if you wish to crash on the sofa surfing the net or watching a DVD.
