We stayed here for four nights in Feb 2011.
- Ski-on, Ski-off. The access trail to Deer Valley was a few steps away from the front door. One note: the access trail is a bit flat so you have to do a small amount of work to get to your first run of the day. Skiing back to the lodge is seamless though, since you have momentum coming off your last run.
- Location. The lodge is in Silver Lake Village, which is a collection of similar lodges + shops, etc. We were able to walk to dinner our first night, which was nice since it was snowing and no one felt like driving.
- Spacious. The place was very large for eight people. The entire second floor was common space: equipped kitchen (lots of pots and pans for cooking, toaster, coffee machine), dining room, laundry, and a big living room. There was also a ski equipment room.
- Garage. The place has an underground garage which is good if you're bringing cars.
