Mr. Bonn farmed the land until 1869, when he divided the home-place between his two sons. Your hostess’ grandparents purchased the property in the 1930’s and continued to farm the countryside. During the home’s existence, it has been a residence, a granary, and a barn. In 1994, your hostess revived the cottage to its present state as a charming getaway from hustle and bustle.
    A large front porch invites you to enjoy the country quiet by use of rocking chairs. A living room, bathroom, and kitchen comprise the downstairs. This is just what we needed. We loved this little cottage that was set far enough from the city to enjoy the hill country with no neighbors yet close enough to the city to enjoy the wineries, restaurants, and grocery store. This little getaway was perfect for my husband & I. It's so quiet, as the nearest neighbors are acres away. It's far enough out of town that the view of the stars is incredible!
