We arrived at the resort and found all the staff very friendly . We can say that some areas of the property are dated and would probably benefit from new carpet installation but overall the facility is in good shape . We arrived on a Travel Zoo promotion and felt very good about our room rate but considering the location we know the regular rate would be higher and if you need a nice place on the beach sometimes you have to pay more . We took the buffet breakfast every morning other than that we did not use the inhouse facilities . There were not a lot of people using the bar at the pool and after paying 20 dollars for a margarita and a beer we did not use it either . Within walking distance there is a Publix supermarket and a liquor store so we just went for a short walk for whatever we wanted . There are actually some rooms with kitchen facilities which is very appealing if staying for more than a week but we were only there for a week so we checked out the some of the local fare...
