5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012 for a stay in October 2012

We spent a great 4 nights at the house. It is easy to find, parking is good, and the house itself is immaculate - beuatifully maintained, and the welcome pack of mild & bread and coffee and shortbread - along with a few tots of Talisker was a lovely touch. Everything was straightforward, and all the machines - the satellite TV, the dishwasher/washing machine etc very easy to use. Beds were very comfortable. Helynn was a very good host, throughout the booking and the stay, making it all very easy.

Minor issues - The shower was a bit weak, and the instructions for getting the wifi weren't there, and we couldn't get into the games room.

No. 2 is a fantastic base to see the delights of Skye - a trip to the lighthouse at Neist is worth it, and the coral beach past Dunvegan castle is very beautiful.

Sam and Helynn were great, they met us when we arrived to show us around, told us where things were and they gave us some fantastic ideas of where to go.

The house is the best equipped house we have ever stayed in, we have stayed in lots over the years! There is everything you could wish for and more! The bedrooms are of the highest quality, the beds incredibly comfortable and clean, very well laid out.

We were able to walk every day down to watch the seals, just passed the castle, this was brilliant as they were very close and obviously used to people. We saw so much wildlife on the longer walks, like to Neist Point Lighthouse, where we saw minkie whales, dolphins and the Sea Eagle when we went to Waternish, definitely would recommend you to take your camera.

The best bit, our welcome hamper! Such a treat, toffee, fudge, local beer and even the Talisker etc! We sat out on our first night and watched the sunset from the back garden with our beer - what an...
