    3 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 6
Ivy Cottage is a cosy Highland croft house set above a working croft on the hillside between Dingwall and Strathpeffer at the foot of Ben Wyvis.
The cottage has stunning panoramic views from the Grampian Mountains to the east across the hills to the south and west with Ben Wyvis to the North.
The fully enclosed garden has a picnic bench and garden seat which allows you to relax outside and catch a glimpse of the local population of red kites swoop down on the croft to feed most days. Black grouse, golden eagles, red deer and roe deer can be spotted in the hills up above the cottage.
At the bottom of the croft is a tourist viewpoint and memorial to the famous novelist Neil Gunn.
If its peace and tranquillity you want from your Highland break then step out the back door and walk for miles...

Ivy Cottage has the most stunning views, and we could have spent 4 days just watching the changing scenery and cloudscapes from the kitchen and panoramic bedrooms The cottage is beautifully fitted-out with everything you could wish, and the freesat and wifi worked very well for the duration. The bedrooms were very comfortable, and the living space is ample, with... more

We spent the Easter long weekend at Ivy Cottage and couldn't have been happier - we wished it could have been longer! The cottage was immaculate and cosy, and the hosts, Angus, Fiona and Emma, had thought of everything in terms of making it a very easy stay for us. The views from the cottage are sensational and we loved... more

Management response:

It was a pleasure having you all at Ivy Cottage and seeing the children so involved in the busy lambing period made our day. Pity they missed todays excitement as the first totally black lamb was born on the croft. more
