    North Most Cottage Contin in the heart of the Scottish Highlands warm and welcoming

    NMC Is the North Wing of Coul Road Cottages, and has been recently (2009) updated to the highest standard while still maintaining the cosy cottage feel.

    Sleeps up to 4 (maximum of 4 adults) - with 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with twin beds). one bathroom with bath & shower , a cot is available (Mama's & Papa's)

    Ample towels, bed linen and duvets with additional blankets for winter use are included as is electricity, oil fired C/Heating , cot available, Bar Bar Q, Satellite TV, DVD's, WIFI connection, board games , books maps...etc'

    The pretty village of Contin lies on the main road west from Inverness at the point where the fertile farmlands of Easter Ross give way to the rugged splendour of the West Coast Hills of Highlands typified by Ben Wyvis, Ben Eigh, Liathach, Torridon, Skye and the close at hand yet spectacular Falls of Rogie, all within a easy reach of the village.
    Then onwards and upwards to wilderness of Caithness & Sutherland.
    Inverness is 20 miles to the south and a 40 mile drive west through magnificent scenery leads to the fishing port of Ullapool where the car ferry leaves for Stornoway. Contin is a centre of excellence for mountain biking and also offers golf, angling, riding, walking and climbing.

Easy to find, peaceful cottage half an hour from Inverness. We appreciated being able to book thursday to tuesday unlike other properties we had tried. The cottage is lovely, quiet and well equipped. Arrived on first day to be greeted very warmly by the owner who gave us a guided tour. Great accommodation, all very clean and well set out. Nice little touches of biscuits and chocs for us and dog sweets for the dog. Top of the range cooking oven and induction hob with all the utensils and crockery you would need.... more
