    1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 2
Situated in the ancient Dartmoor settlement of Hookner, Lower Hookner Farm nestles between the heights of King Tor and Easdon Tor in a secluded valley at the end of a quiet lane.

The farm has woodland, fields and streams offering a profusion of wild flowers and wild life, which visitors are welcome to explore. In addition our gates give you direct access to the open moor and the Mariners' way footpath runs through the farm.

We are a working hill farm with moorland rights in an environmentally sensitive area, using traditional methods to manage our herd of suckler cows. We also keep horses, chickens and ducks. We are a dog friendly farm and welcome well behaved, under control dogs.

The nearest village is North Bovey, 2 miles, with a thatched pub beside the tree studdied green. More...

This was a cute little cottage in a gorgeous location. Shame the roads are so thin (one car roads with passing places) You get what you pay for, this cottage is a cheap price but it is nice inside and out. Even get the odd spider included in the price! The cottage itself is nice, with a garden to the... more

Stable Cottage is a lovely place for two and Susie and James were very welcoming. Their farm is nestled down in lush green lanes below the wild moor and is beautiful and unspoilt. It was lovely to have bread and milk and fresh eggs from their hens in the fridge when we arrived. The bed was comfortable, the cottage was... more

This beautiful quiet location , was easy to find but we felt like we were well off the beaten track. The owners were on hand and helpful but never in the way. The accomodation was perfect for a couple with our dog and we spent most days out walking and cycling from the house or with a short drive before... more
