Kinvara Suites was a gem. I stayed over during the freezing Christmas – one of the coldest on record - and the place was, at all times, toasty. The cosy underfloor heating is supplemented by a lovely gas stove. When the deep freeze happened, pipes all over Kinvara froze and, unfortunately, so did the pipes here. However, Liz Murphy, the owner, and her brother, Leonard, went out of their way to provide water and to get the plumbing up and running after the thaw. I couldn't ask for better service.
The location is great: secluded and quiet in the middle of a wonderfully lively and friendly village. No pub or restaurant is more than a five minute walk. Kinvara Suites sets the standard.
(Disclosure: I know Liz personally but that in no way influenced this review.) more
