    From upstairs, you can enjoy some stunning views out towards the Farne Islands and Dunstanburgh Castle. There is also a lovely enclosed lawned garden at the rear which proves to be quite a sun trap in the warmer months! With gas central heating throughout and a lovely real flame fire in the lounge, Sunnysands provides a comfortable and relaxing place to enjoy a family holiday or short break.

    Kitchen/diner: very well equipped with lots of storage space, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, gas hob and electric oven, washing machine, toaster, kettle, radio, table and seating for 6 people.


    Lounge: large leather sofa, 2 arm chairs, leather pouffe, coffee table with flat screen TV and DVD player, a wall mounted gel fire and 2 occasional tables. There is also a good selection of DVD’s and games to keep all the family entertained. There are French doors that lead out from the lounge onto the decking area with seating and into the enclosed lawned garden.

    Cheap flights are available from many major European cities to Newcastle Airport through operators such as Easyjet, Ryanair, Jet2 and others and the cottage is only an hours drive from the airport.

    Access by train is from Alnmouth station which is on the East Coast Main Line from London to Edinburgh. Beadnell village is a short taxi ride or bus from Alnmouth.

    From the Continue past Newcastle and Morpeth on the A1 (M), following signs for Alnwick. Take second exit for Alnwick (Alnwick Gardens), and follow signs for Seahouses (13 miles) along the B1340. About 3 miles before you reach Seahouses, as you approach the coast, you will see a sign for Beadnell to the right.

House & garden were well kept and tidy. House was located in a perfect spot to travel the Northumberland area. This is a fantastic house. It is very well situated, clean and modern, all the essentials any holiday makers would need. This house was in a fairly new housing estate where most of the properties seem to be holiday lets. The house was quite dirty on the ground floor. The livingroom carpet was stained and the ironing board was filthy. The table and benches provided for outside were blinding in sunlight and were uncomfortable to sit at. The previous guests were responsible for the dog mess and that is so sad as many of our guests like to bring their family pet on holiday with them and the majority are responsible pet owners an clean up after their pet.
