    The character Sitting Room has oak-framed windows on three sides and a heavily beamed ceiling with brick inglenook fireplace and a wood-burning stove. It is very comfortably furnished with luxury leather sofas and swing-up footrests, an extendable antique dining table which can seat six people or more, antique welsh dresser and occasional tables. The floor is wide oak boards with antique rugs. The wood-burning stove can be lit in the colder months (although the central heating is more than sufficient for warming the house) and there is a wide-screen TV and DVD for your enjoyment.

My closest friends and I spent a considerable amount of money for a one night stay here for a friend's pre wedding celebrations. From the pictures this bypassed anything else we'd seen and were very excited as this was a very special occasion. Prior to the visit the owner and I had had regular contact and she was very helpful even suggesting nearby restaurants.

The first hurdle we faced was finding the place!!! I could not find the postcode anywhere on their website, and the phone numbers they provided did not pick up so this was a bit of a struggle! On arrival the owner was welcoming and had kindly agreed to store our food in the fridge for a couple of hours before we checked in. It was at this point we realised the annex is an extension of the owner's private home, which actually had adjoining doors (one of which we could not lock from our side)!!! When we came back to check in, the cleaning had not been completed so we had to awkwardly hang around whilst the owner...

This guest booked the Annex for herself and 6 young friends for a Hen party despite our terms stating no Hen or Stag parties. When it became clear, I requested they should not make excessive noise as we have other guests staying on the property. This group were clearly keen to start their party and arrived early. nice and quiet place to stay. short distance from london. lovely farm in country side. perfect for families. nice large bedrooms and living room with fire place. enjoyed the stay. nice owners. more
