Spotted the cottage from the ferry on the crossing from Lymington (which was so easy). We had a car so only took 10 minutes to get there but it would have been possible to walk from the ferry if you were fit. Very welcoming with an unexpected gift of wine, local apple juice and shortbread that set the tone for...

We had never taken our dogs away with us before so were a little apprehensive, the cottage was a wonderful place to stay for people with dogs and children, with a wood directly behind which led sown to the shore. The shore isn't suitable for bathing but has sand and rocks, with lots of interesting rock pools for your children...
