We went as part of a large group and had a really great time, the setting is perfect, the view fantastic, the house roomy and comfortable, even with 16 adults, the weather was fairly kind and we all had a super weekend, I would recommend it ! more

The location of this place is absolutely fantastic for peace and quiet and lovely walks. with the local pub just a short walk away I would recommend this place for large groups who want to get away from it all and have a great time. Far Moor End was, quite simply, as close to perfection as one can get. The converted house and linked barn are surrounded by woodland, paddocks, ponds and a wildflower meadow, with the only colony of fresh water mussels in England close by in the river Ehen, a special area of conservation. One of the entrances leads to a large quarry tiled porch, and utility room, ideal for muddy boots and hanging coats.
This also leads to the kitchen which is large with plenty of storage space.
It is fully equipped with ample fridges, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and a large 2-oven Aga Rangemaster. There is a breakfast table in here making the room feel comfortable and sociable.
The utililty room offers additional storage space, freezer, iron & ironing board and washing machine. More space for muddy boots and coats.
