Arriving at the apartment having driven from England we were delighted to find it in great condition, as if brand new, and with a stunning view of Port Hercule below. There is a designated parking space in the labyrinthine car park. We quickly saw why most locals favour small cars - space is extremely limited and everything is built into the mountainside, including this apartment building. It's quite difficult to spot as all you see from the road is a gate so could benefit from a clear sign.
The apartment itself is small but the balcony is big and beautiful. It's actually a small garden, with grass and a tree so great for kids. It's by far the best 'balcony' I've ever experienced. There is a large gas BBQ which we put to good use, a couple of sun loungers and outside chairs.
The kitchen area, while small, has a fantastic induction hob and a microwave. The hob is so fast and efficient that rustling up a quick meal is absolutely no bother. There is also a full sized... more
