Although secluded above Lower Bay, you are always in touch with the to-ings and fro-ings of the ships and boats of Port Elizabeth looking out from the terrace, over tropical gardens and natural vegetation.
Walk through these gardens and you are on the beach, an unspoilt strand, a backdrop of native trees and with reefs to explore. Relax and watch the inquisitive crabs watching you, or the seabirds diving for fish. We've even seen a manta-ray skimming the shoreline.
The Villa is stunning, designed in Island style, built from stone and hardwoods, tastefully and comfortably furnished. The hub of the house is the terrace, and we ate, read, relaxed out here, joined by geckos and listened to the hypnotic sound of tree frogs at night.
The villa is well serviced three times a week, the staff are friendly and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable with lots of useful information on getting around and eating out.
