    Additional Location Information
The Yellowstone Ecosystem encompasses a broad region including Teton Valley. Teton Valley is surrounded by national forest and three mountain ranges including The Big Hole, Snake River and Teton Mountain Ranges – all heavily forested and snow capped, draining into the Teton River which runs through the center of our valley. From the wonders of Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks both forks of the famous Snake River are born, passing through Jackson Hole, Wyoming, en route to the Palisades Reservoir the South Fork of the Snake River runs through Swan Valley. The Henry’s Fork of the Snake River is formed at the confluence of Robinson Creek and Warm River, east of Island Park, then downhill from Mesa Falls, later joining the Snake River just west of Teton Valley.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2013 for a stay in July 2013

I stayed in the Darby Barn along with 2 teenage sons during the Grand Targhee Music Fest. (Note: this listing contains both barn and cabin which are adjacent; we rented only the barn). It is a reasonably priced 2 bedroom (queen bed in each), 2 bath cabin, with kitchen, LR, & master bedroom upstairs, located 3 miles from downtown Driggs. The kitchen was unbelievably equipped with every conceivable utensil. Beds were comfortable and it was quite clean. There are ceiling fans and a box fan in the bedroom, but it was still a bit warm during the day, at least upstairs. Though we didn't go in the cabin next door, it looks more shaded and is probably cooler. Couple of light bulbs out and insufficient extra linens, as one son slept on couch and there were no supplemental pillows or sheets for coverage. We didn't bring any, but apparently they do allow pets for an additional charge. more
