My husband and I stay at cabins in north Georgia 5-6 times a year and we think we're declaring this our new favorite cabin. Driving to it was easy, no difficult road conditions and it was not hard to find. Walking in, we first see the craftsman door followed by beautiful decor and then my favorite part--windows and french doors across the back. When in the kitchen (which was perfect with great gas stove and apron front farmhouse sink), I can still see outside. Everything I needed to cook with was there. Sometimes cabins have mismatched pots and lids, but every pan had a lid which makes this cook happy. And tons of counter space for prepping.
Most of our time was spent on the screen porch. Every meal was out there at the table, and afternoons and evenings were spent reading on the couch and loveseat on the porch.
Another thing I really liked was that when we were downstairs in the basement (had to catch some World Cup!), the view wasn't obstructed. The hot tub... more
