The neighborhood of North Sarasota is the NEWEST part of the city: Quiet, Safe, Clean, NEW, and convenient to everything. From our Vacation Home it takes just 10 to 15 minutes to arrive to the warm sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico and it is close to MANY Restaurants, Florida's #1 Supermarket, (Publix) Cafes, and Shops which are JUST ACROSS THE STREET (One can walk there if desired). The Sarasota/Bradenton Airport is just 5 minutes away, though cheaper flights can be found into Tampa, Orlando, or Ft. Myers. Orlando is just 2 hours away and Tampa is only a 30 minute drive (During high traffic it will take one about 45 minutes to 1 hour to arrive from Tampa International Airport). There is no location closer in Sarasota, and there are SEVERAL activities and attractions to occupy one for WEEKS in this tropical paradise!!
