Well appointed house close to grocery stores, restaurants and downtown Sarasota. Lovely kitchen with all amenities of a private home. We were however surprised at how dark it was inside the house. As a result you have to leave the lights on day and night (not sure how this ties in with being a green building). Garden very nice but...

This home is located in a National Register Historic District, the largest in the county. It is three miles to the Sarasota-Bradenton airport, one block off of US 41 and two blocks from Sarasota Bay. Also located directly across the street from the home is Pioneer Park - with tennis courts, basketball court, play ground, a Historic Cemetery and home to the oldest standing house in Sarasota.
