The Inn is perfectly located for a tourist on Beach Drive NE and within walking distance of many of the attractions. For those not within walking distance, the trolley which stops 1/2 block away and runs all day, charges 50 cents and gives a running commentary about the city is a wonderful alternative.
The house itself is old and needs work. Do not go if you cannot negotiate steps as all the rooms are upstairs. There are some rooms that are pet friendly.
Staff and owners are top drawer and always concerned with their guests well being. Breakfast is great and if you make your favorites known before you arrive, they will accommodate you. Homemade cookies are available in the PM as is wine.
The bed was in need of a new mattress. The sheets and comforter were excellent quality. Having free wi fi was also nice and appreciated.
