5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2014 for a stay in June 2014

Stayed in this beautiful cottage for a week in June. Everything was spotlessly clean. Fabulous new kitchen. Everything you could possibly need was in the cottage. (including a friendly cat that appeared on the second day!). Would recommend highly recommend this cottage. We had a brilliant week there. more

5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2012 for a stay in September 2011

Opening the door and walking into the house was a great feeling, it was all so together, just so welcoming and comfortable. First thoughts were this is going to be easy. The quality and finish, the scrupulous attention to detail is breathtaking bathroom is a real treat.
Comfy beds and sofas well equiped kitchen but most of all relaxing as everything worked.
Lovely village with two pubs within walking distace both seving excellent food and beer. Very helpfull village shop which is well stocked, owners happy to order anything for you and even deliver it the cottage. Lovely orchard with childrens playground is two minuites walk.
Seek out Riverford for qwerky food supplies. The Ship pub at Noss Mayo is worth the drive, you may need to book in high season, just excellent food!
Make time to travel to Totnes there are so many cake shops! Market day is Friday well worth the drive, a visit fantastic bread stall. Plenty of vegetarin food and lots of aging hippies.
