When I pulled the Tropical Chill page for this review, just a minute ago, and saw the photos of the pool area and the house, a wave of affection came over me. That, on its own, should be a testament of the nice times spent there.
There were some issues, of course, here and there, but overall, our stay (6 weeks) in this secluded, yet central, enchanted cottage, felt like a homecoming. The house is well designed and well appointed, with a great kitchen, a fantastic master bedroom, and a (smallish) guest room, which is adequate just for short stays. Any shortcomings (and there are always shortcomings, no matter where you go) are amply compensated by the quiet, central neighborhood, just a short walk away from anything in KW (but, hey! what isn't close in KW?), and the lovely, tropical feel of the house. The immersion pool sits under a lush forest of bamboo and other plants, so be ready to spend some of your lazy hours netting out leaves and small insects, and doing some deck... more
