We did have a great vacation and our family loved Crested Butte. The Alpine Condo #3 was situated just across the street from the main lift area and for first timers to Crested Butte we couldn’t have had better location, except maybe for ski in ski out. Not to mention, we had one of the most beautiful views of a very nice looking lodge in the mountain resort area! We almost believed we were there, especially since our generously large sliding glass door had no window covering. I am sure our neighbors didn’t mind seeing us each night with the panoramic view of the inside of our condo. We certainly enjoyed seeing them too! The condo also boasted a unusually old but most powerful HVAC/ Heating system. If we felt a little cold we could walk in the other room, and when other parts of our condo seemed a little hot, we could move over to another part. Having hot and cold spots throughout the condo was like having our own private spa right in our mist. Every evening the system rustled...
