Stayed at Gold Camp several times & units, this one twice. Yes it's an older complex, but it's priced right and great for two friends sharing compared to a hotel - you each get your own room, and save on food with a full kitchen (newly remodeled with all new appliances since our last stay, liked that a lot!).
One shared bath works OK for 2 or 3 adults. Plenty of towels are supplied.
Bed was decently comfortable, living room is cozy and has at least a bit of a view. We had to buy our own firewood, a minor inconvenience, but I enjoy having a fireplace. WiFi was good.
The main reason I've stayed here twice is the location! This unit is so handy to the bus stop to Peaks 7 & 8 (or Peak 9 if you grab the other bus). And while you do get some noise from above units, being on the first floor is worth it for not having to haul your stuff up & down 1 or 2 more flights.
BTW, parking is enforced! My buddy forgot to put his pass on the dash and got a huge, gooey...
