Last morning in Grey's Retreat (one of several units smaller than the big Schoolhouse) and it's raining but we're cozy by the fire with croissants from the Bovine Bakery and good coffee we brought along from home. We love Pt Reyes more than just about anywhere...spent 2 days and easily 12 miles on beaches where we maybe saw 20 people... more

I stayed here with four old friends whom I hadn't seen in several years. It was a great place for a reunion. We walked into town for dinner one night, cooked together another night, played games in the game room and had our morning coffee in the sun porch. It was totally relaxed and comfotable. more
