My fiancé and I stayed at La Clede, one of the three properties/parts of the farmhouse at Mas de l'Elze, for a week at the end of September/beginning of October. Having been travelling through France for the best part of a month at that point, mostly staying at campsites in our tent, we decided we wanted to stay in an actual building in a picturesque area with plenty of character. Owing to another property letting us down, we ended up sorting this out completely last minute - the day before we wanted to arrive! - but Carol was wonderful and not fazed in the slightest by us wanting to turn up the next day! We were warmly greeted and given a lovely welcome basket of all kinds of Ardèche goodies, as well as veggies from their garden!
