    The flat is well equipped and can be described as cosy and comfortable and would suit a family or small group of friends. This is the perfect place to relax or to enjoy the full range of activities the outdoors can give you.

    Ullswater is a great location from which to sample all the benefits a Lakes holiday has to offer. Fantastic views, great places to eat and drink and wonderful lake cruises.     Railway: Penrith: 12.4 mi
    If coming by rail, there is a regular bus service direct from Penrith railway station to Glenridding, with a very short walk to the flat.

    Coming by car from the South, you can either leave by the South Lakes turn-off, the A591 and come over the Kirkstone Pass or come in via the M6 exit at Penrith. Coming from the North, the Penrith exit is best via the A592. In winter conditions the Kirkstone Pass is frequently closed so come via Penrith.

The perfect location. We have stayed in Flat 5 on three previous occasions & it is currently undergoing a facelift. It is a cosy & warm place to rest your head, wonderfully situated for all of the local amenities. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone except maybe the less mobile. Paul tells it exactly as it is about this flat. It is ideal self catering accommodation for families or friends and the location is sublime. We were blessed with good weather which does help ( but thats always a worry in the Lake District isn't it ?) and we loved it. We took food with us but ended up eating... more

The accommodation is very comfortable and well equipped, Paul was very helpful and answered my enquiries promptly. The location is stunning and the staff at the Hotel / Ramblers bar very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be booking to stay again. more
