    This location is ideal for golfers, bird watchers and walkers. There are many golf courses within a short walk – Gullane 1, 2 and 3; Luffness; Muirfield and Kilspindie, Longniddry and several courses in North Berwick a short drive away.
    There are several stunning beaches and plenty of attractions for families in the local area, including Aberlady Nature Reserve, the Scottish Seabird Centre, Tantallon Castle and East Links Family Park.

    A bus service runs regularly to Edinburgh and North Berwick, with trains from nearby Drem and Longniddry.

    The apartment is on the main street in Gullane above the Post Office, yet offers a quiet secluded retreat with stunning views over the bowling green to the golf courses and Lammermuir Hills from the roof terrace which is decked and complete with outdoor furniture for guests to enjoy.

    The apartment sleeps 4 - 5 in two twin / double rooms. The second double room is a single with pull out bed, but there is a double sofa bed in the lounge if preferred. The apartment is on the first floor of a two apartment block, with the bedrooms and bathroom on the second floor. The roof terrace is reached from the second floor by a second flight of stairs. Thus the apartment is not suitable for very young children.

    WOULD ALSO CONSIDER HOLIDAY SWAP / EXCHANGE IN TENERIFE; SPAIN; PORTUGAL - or anywhere really. Does not have to be the same dates. Looking for Tenerife for up to 4- 5 weeks January/ February/March any year.
    All rates include linen and service charges but electricity and gas are by meter reading and deducted from security deposit but should be no more than £25 - £30 per week. Payment is through Holiday Lettings and utilities are deducted from security deposit.

    All rates are for one week - usually Fri - Fri, unless by arrangement and for a maximum party of 4 although occasionally a family group of 6 is possible.

    Railway: Drem: 2.5 mi
    Driving from Edinburgh takes 25 minutes by car.
    There is a frequent bus - service 124 to and from Musselburgh/Edinburgh - the journey takes an hour to Edinburgh, arriving every 30 minutes. However, the service has recently changed and alternate buses may terminate in Musselburgh and you may have to change to a Lothian bus to complete journey to Edinburgh.
    These services leave from Haymarket via St Andrews Square, Edinburgh through Gullane to North Berwick. The bus stop to Edinburgh or North Berwick is less than 50 yards from the apartment.

    The Train from Drem or Longniddry Stations takes only 20 / 15 minutes to Waverley Station, Princes Street .

    The Train from North Berwick takes 30 minutes to Waverley station. (10 minutes away)
    A day saver return train ticket costs around £6.

We just loved the place. For our family with two adults and four little children it was just perfect. Coranne even provided a cot for our little one (almost two years old) which was very helpful. The whole family felt at once at home. Everything was in perfect order and we even found - guess what - a washing-machine!! more
