    The price includes electric, heating (please note there is an additional winter fuel surcharge of £35/week payable 1st Oct - 31st Mar), large basket of logs for the log-burner, linen, towels, and unlimited broadband/wifi. The cottage is available to guests from 4pm onwards unless agreed otherwise. Guests are requested to vacate the cottage by 10am on day of departure unless agreed otherwise.

    NOTE: For stays of anything other than the stated minimum stay of 3 nights or one week in the above table please contact the owner for a price.

    This property is strictly NO SMOKING. Sorry no pets allowed. Parents of young children should be aware that the stairs are stone and the balustrade has gaps of up to 23cm.

    Accessing by road from the south: M6 J34 is 13 miles away; from the north: M6 J36 is 8 miles away; from the east: take the A65 (Kendal direction) to Cowan Bridge.

    By public transport: Lancaster Station is the nearest main line station; then take bus 81B to Kirkby Lonsdale, change to bus 581 for Cowan Bridge (or taxi 2 minutes from Kirkby Lonsdale); bus stop 250yds from cottage. Alternatively a taxi from lancaster station would take 30 minutes.

    The nearest airports are Manchester (85 mins by car) & Liverpool (95 mins by car).

Thank you for a wonderful holiday - we couldn't have wished for a more beautiful cottage to spend time in, it has been perfect! Our 18 month daughter has thoroughly enjoyed exploring and looking for bunnies in your beautiful garden. This cottage was absolutely delightful. Our hosts were wonderful, engaging and hospitable. They are very knowledgeable of the area, and even leave a notebook detailing hiking trails, restaurants, information about the area, and recommendations.
