The beautifully maintained property benefits from 3 large terraces providing sun and shade at all times of the day and is just across the road from the mile-long Playazo beach with its selection of bars and seafood restaurants. Set between the magnificent backdrop of the Almijara mountains and the Mediterranean coastline, this delightful house is only two minutes stroll from the attractive swimming pool and restaurant complex which is only for the private use of Tropicana residents and their guests.

    From Malaga airport (40 mins):
    On leaving the airport, to get to the motorway take the route signed Malaga E15 & N340.
    While on N340 pass San Miguel Brewery on LHS and follow blue signs for Ronda de Malaga (a ring road) and in about 2 kms, still following the Ronda de Malaga/Motril signs you will exit this carriageway via slip road, climbing in a short slow right hand bend, and then turn down onto the Autovia (motorway) heading east (again blue signs).
    Follow this A7/E15 for about 20 minutes skirting the city on your right, through some tunnels, and still with the sea and city to your right head east in the direction of Almeria.
    Stay on the Autovia for another 15 -20 minutes and pass a town called Velez Malaga, then Caleta, then Torrox.

The whole experience was seamless! From initially making inquiries obtaining the security bond upon our return :-).
The directions to the property were fantastic and even give photographic examples of key points of the journey towards the accommodations location. Obtaining access to the property was also very straight forward and well explained. The property felt welcoming, well aired (no signs of any dampness which can be a problem during the winter season in climates where properties are built to stay cool in the summer!).
As we travel in numbers we do tend to eat in a fare amount and we found everything we could want to enable us to prepare food as we would have done at home, all the key necessities. Lovely little touch to have nice smelling liquid hand soap in all the bathrooms :-) .. Duvets on the beds with additional blankets if necessary and plug in heaters in every room to take the chill off.
All in all a great place to stay, lovely people to deal with...

We stayed here as a family last Oct 13 for 1 week. 6 adults and one 2yr old. The accomodation itself was spot on and exactly as described by the owners. The townhouse is spread over 3floors and very well appointed. 2 balconies and garden to the rear which do get the sun at different times of the day however there is a large open terrace on the street level at the main door to the house which attracts the sun without interuption-a joy to sit at all day especially the evening time. There is also ample shaded areas.
There is also easy access to the shared pool, a 1 min walk away, with bar area and small restuarant snack bar.
The beach is a 5-10mins easy walk down the hill if you are fit enough although those with any mobility issues may struggle,however you can drive your hire car straight onto beach road and access is simple from there!
The townhouse itself ,within the tropicana complex , is a good 20min walk from nerja or 5mins by taxi costing 6euros. We had hired a car...
