Our two-night stay in this wooden A-frame in a mountain-top forest was a pleasant break from city life. The cabin has one bedroom with a king-size bed downstairs and two (without a door between) that sleep five upstairs. We found it had everything we needed for a short stay, with only one negative feature: the single bathroom is accessible only through the downstairs bedroom. This might be an issue for those with concerns for privacy, particularly at night, but for our extended family it was just a slight inconvenience. There is a modern outdoor gas grill, as well as a small but functional kitchen.
We took a hike around the rim of the mountain, getting great views in every direction, and found the trail easy: flat but with a few short rock climbs. Deer wandered past the cabin each morning. All in all, we had a very positive experience. more
