My sister and I, my nephew and his wife, and two of their female golfing friends rented this single-storey villa for two weeks in April. The first impression is of space – high ceilings and open-plan living area incorporating the living room, dining area and kitchen. It has a nice patio area with a lovely view, which is not overlooked.
Our main reason for choosing this villa was the fact that it was advertised as having five en-suite bedrooms, meaning everyone had their own bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. What it doesn’t say is that one bedroom is like a casita and only accessible from the driveway, not from inside the main house, and another is a study with a bed-settee. The mattress on the bed-settee was not very comfortable and when we contacted the owner about this, we were told that he would put what beds he liked in the rooms and a thicker mattress would be provided for an additional fee of £75.
