    This is a cabin located on the side of a mountain with sweeping views of Tuis and the valley below. The cabin is located on a farm with a lot of different kinds of birds, coffee, fruit trees, hummingbirds, waterfalls, jungle and fish ponds. The area is known for white water rafting on the Pacuare and Reventazon. The active Turrialba Volcano is nearby. There are canopy tours, Pre-Colombian ruins, a snake farm, coffee tours, nature reserves, and many more things to do nearby.

    The cabin has a living room with a TV, DVD and movies are available, includes a furnished kitchen for cooking, a porch with rocking chairs and hummingbird feeders, there are two double beds and bunk beds. There is wireless internet. A washer and dryer are available. The garage has space for one car.

I had a chance to stay on Steve’s farm and want to say what a pleasure it was. The cabin itself is lovely, with wood walls and ceiling, tile floors, a kitchen with refrigerator, sink, and cooktop. This is a great retreat from which to experience the central mountains of Costa Rica. The view from the cabin is beautiful, and Steve was a great host.
