El Refugio, is a fine family enviorment community with community swimming pool, basket ball court, small kids park with benches and plenty of parking just before the trail.
The house is on the cul de sac, right at the nature trail entrance where you can get away from it all and take a walk or run, bike, swim on the Barton Creek.
You are welcome to park on the street where it is safe and little to no traffic. You do need transportation, and there is NO public transportation out here. I will let you borrow a pair of bicycles if you are up to it.
Restaurants bars, high end shopping centers and regular ones too, grocery stores like wholefoods and HEB and more are about 10 min away by car.
