My friend and I truly enjoyed our experience in Austin and a huge part of that was Aditya and Paola's rental house. It was located so close to downtown and everywhere else we had already planned to visit. The Town Lake Trail was a stones throw away and the Congress Avenue Bridge Bats were a bike ride away. Neighborhood: enjoy lady bird lake, formally known as town lake, just 2 blocks away from the house for a picnic, stroll, run, bike ride or fishing in its lush 14 miles trail. This trail has many different parks such as the festival beach park, Zilker park, Barton springs pool and auditorium shores to name a few. It also has access to other venues such as fiesta gardens, the long center for the performing arts, the Zilker botanical garden, the Umlauf sculpture garden and the Austin nature center. Live outdoor music concerts are abundant and this area, from classical to blues and everything in between.
