One of the best aspects of this house is its layout. There are several distinct areas for people to be: dining room, living room, kitchen nook, front porch...allowing four people to spread out with books, projects and conversation. Furnishings are acceptable but not grand. Sheets and towels likewise. Beds are comfortable. The kitchen is basic but adequately equipped for simple meals. There is no dishwasher but there is a washer and a dryer. The house has air conditioning, a treat in the hot Ashland summer. The front porch is in the shade for most of the day and is a pleasant place to pass time. One of our party uses a wheelchair. Mobility into and throughout the downstairs was very good. The downstairs bed was too high for him but we moved the twin bed from upstairs and solved the problem. The manager was fine with that and offered to move it for us in the future.
The location of the house is another strong point. It is a short walk to downtown and the theaters and to the co-op...
