Hi, This centrally located Gion House was perfect for what we needed it was just that the photos looked so lovely but the reality was not so. Our family of four stayed in this small house located down a very small alley in Kyoto. Our house angel, Daniel Auguste, came to meet us having sent us a map of the place and spoken to our taxi driver to obtain exact location. We loved this little Gion house. My wife had never been to Japan before, so she was very keen to get a little taste of traditional Japanese living.
