I first discovered this place in my teens, over 15 years ago, and have been privileged enough to get to know the wonderfully charming and efficient owner and have come back many times- most recently for a grand family occasion last year with over 20 guests of all ages spread between this and their other property around the corner.
Over the years the owners have added to and polished both properties without ever losing its charming and authentic feel. It is right in the middle of Essouira and feels both grand and elegant while still being cosy and convenient. Both properties are beautiful; this one benefits from a large shared dining room under romantic arches and a beutiful terace on the roof to look over the city.It has a more modern, chic look as compared to the Clara Toby's romantic old-Morrocan decor.
