We booked Muhugu House for about two months because the idea of living in a hotel or serviced apartment that long a period with children was not acceptable. Muhugu House provided the idea of privacy, space and grounds that allowed for children to run around and enjoy themselves. We also wanted accommodation away from all the hustle and bustle but...

Within a few minutes’ walk of Muhugu House is the Galleria Mall, for a spot of shopping, having a drink or dining out.
There are numerous excellent restaurants located a few minutes’ drive from the homes, including the famous Carnivore Restaurant, Mamba Village, Tokyo Restaurant and the Karen Country Club.
There is also a large taxi rank and public transport stop at the junction of Forest Edge Road and Langata Road; just a short walk from the house.
Muhugu House is easily commutable to Nairobi City Centre, Wilson airport, the Nairobi National Park and numerous local attractions that include the elephant and giraffe sanctuaries, Bomas of Kenya and the Karen Blixen museum.
