My husband and I stayed in the one bedroom apartment in Nachalot. Firstly, the location of this apartment could not be better. It is a one minute walk to the "shuk" where we bought food daily. It is a five minute walk from Ben Yehuda, where we went out to eat and was able to explore the night life of Jerusalem. It is a a 25-30 minute walk to the Kotel, the walk is quick, and there are lovely views on the way.
As for the apartment: my husband and I were very comfortable in the one bedroom. We were able to cook in the full kitchen, as well as keep our water cold in the large refrigerator/freezer. The bathroom is beautiful as well. The couch in the living room opens up to a bed, so we were able to have two friends sleep over comfortably. A nice addition was the cable TV and internet.
The apartment as a whole is very clean and you feel like your in a hotel, without paying for those expenses. The owners of the apartment are very sweet and helpful. Any questions we asked...
