I would strongly advise no one to stay at Riad Hugo.
I have just got back from a week long trip with six of my friends (a group of six girls) and we had an awful experience.
Not only is the area within which the Riad is located unsettling, the Riad itself is unsafe, to say the least. 7000 DH (approx. £600) was STOLEN from the house on our penultimate night. The Riad was broken into through the roof which is easily accessible from all around via interconnecting terraces - but of course, this is an aspect of the Riad none of the specifically chosen photos will show....
Furthermore, the owners of the Riad were unsympathetic, unapologetic and unhelpful, taking no responsibility considering their facilities list specifies that a safety deposit box was available, but on site, the ONE safe was 'broken'. This resulted in us all having to keep our passports and money in our suitcases, increasing their vulnerability.
