First, falsely advertised--not Capitol Hill area, nor quiet cul-d-sac. On arrival, we found dishwasher did not work, no DVD player, multiple lights without bulbs, no control for ceiling fan/light, front window blinds had fallen down, rear windows had broken latches and could not be secured. Additionally, the heating/air conditioning is controlled by upstairs rental and on our first day--a warm day, our basement rental was cold as a meat locker. We also found we could easily hear the renters upstairs talking and walking about--not pleasant.
The WiFi, also controlled upstairs, failed several times during our stay, making it necessary for us to go to another WiFi site to arrange activities and airport transportation. The fold out couch in the living room was terrible. Only one person could deal with the uncomfortable metal springs, requiring another to sleep on the regular sofa. If the owner had made an effort, our experience could have been better. The location is reasonable...
